The late Professor's Marko
Jaric family, The
Faculty of Physics, The
Institute of Physics, The "Vinca" Institute of Nuclear Sciences,
and The Mathematical
Institute of Serbian Academy of Science and Arts, have founded,
on June 23, 1998, the "Prof. Dr. Marko V. Jaric" Foundation.
The primary goal of the Foundation is to preserve the memory
of the life and work of Marko Jaric (1952 - 1997).
To accomplish this goal the Foundation grants annually the "Marko
Jaric" award for outstanding scientific achievements in
physics. The award is granted each year on the17th of March,
the date of birth of Marko Jaric, and consists of a diploma and
a financial part. The Foundation is directed by the Governing
board. Details about award are determined by the Rules of the
Foundation.
