Every scientist probably secretly desires his work to be mentioned by the Nobel price winners. For fifty-two year old Ivan Bozovic (born in Belgrade, citizen of Yugoslavia and USA) the top world and national physicist, that wish came through in 1988, after publishing the article in "Physical Review Letters", in which he explained his own experimental proof that in HTC superconductors there is no exciton pairing. Many of respectable researchers, such as Bardin, Shrifer, Mott, Anderson, Miller and Bednorz, more than a 200 times referred his papers in their articles.

Dr. Ivan Bozovic was more than 100 times an invited speaker, had more than a 140  articles published in leading scientific journals, was a reviewer and the main referee for five contributed papers from different conferences, and his papers are cited over 1000 times.  Knowing that less than 2% of physicists have more than 500 citations it is easy to conclude how respectable scientist he is.  At present he works as a leading researcher at Oxsel Company, University of Bremen (Germany).

In 1998. Dr. Ivan Bozovic was the first  "Prof. Dr Marko Jaric" Price winner, probably most distinguished national award for physicists, founded in order to commemorate the exceptional scientific work of one of our most respectable physicist.  In rationale of the jury,  selected from our top specialists,  is disclosed that: "In past 15 years Dr Ivan Bozovic gave the extraordinary contribution to nanoengeneering promoting the molecular beam epitaxy controlled growth of atom-sized layer stockings and to the experiment which determined several important characteristics of specific materials of interest to the future theory of HTC superconductivity mechanism".
