Faculty of Physics University of Belgrade is the high education and scientific institution that consists of the Department of Physics and the Department of Meteorology. It was founded in 1990 as independent institution by separating of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics on 6 faculties. The basic studies are organized in 6 study groups and majors, graduate and specialist studies and research on 11 physics and meteorology fields.

Teaching, scientific researches and specialist work are conducting in 11 departments, and experimental teaching in 29 laboratories. Students dispose of 3 libraries as well as the computer center with 12 computers and Internet access.

 

The Faculty works in 3 buildings.  Students of the first and the second year of study are listening the courses in Cara Dusana 13 Street, where is also situated the Office for students matters. The deans’ office, as well as teaching of students of the third and the fourth year of study are accomplishing in Studentski trg 12 Street. The Department for Meteorology is located in Dobracina 16 Street.
